1. About these terms

These terms of use apply to your use of the Kippi website at kippi.help, operated by Alon Gefen Technology ("Kippi," "we," or "us"). By accessing this site, you agree to these terms.

These terms do not yet cover the Kippi mobile application. Separate terms will be published before the app launches.

2. What this site is

This site provides information about the Kippi app (currently in development) and allows you to join a waitlist to be notified when it launches. The site is informational only.

3. Not medical advice

Kippi is not a medical service. Nothing on this site, and nothing in the Kippi app, constitutes medical, psychological, or clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Kippi is a supportive companion application intended to provide in-the-moment emotional support. It is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment, therapy, or emergency services.

If you're in crisis, struggling to stay safe, or thinking about harming yourself, please reach out for help now. In the US, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call ANAD's eating-disorders helpline at 888-375-7767. Outside the US, please contact your local emergency services. Kippi cannot respond to emergencies.

4. Acceptable use

By using this site, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or overload the site or its infrastructure
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its backend systems
  • Harvest or collect personal data of other users

5. Intellectual property

All content on this site - including the Kippi name, wordmark, mascot character, design, and copy - is owned by Alon Gefen Technology and protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our written permission.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

This site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be available at all times, free of errors, or suitable for any particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alon Gefen Technology will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or the Kippi app. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the site will not exceed USD $100.

8. Third-party links

This site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of those sites.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Israel.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
